Don’t get mad…get data!

For World Hepatitis Day 2020, the CDC shared the newest surveillance report on viral hepatitis in the US, which includes the following highlights:

  • Hepatitis A infections were more than 9 times higher (from 2014-2018).

  • Hepatitis B infections increased by 19% (from 2014 to 2018).

  • Hepatitis C infections increased by 65% (from 2014 to 2018).
