Join Us! Hep Elimination Planning

On World Hepatitis Day, July 28 2019, we partnered with the Hawaii Department of Health and the Hawaii Health and Harm Reduction Center to host the inaugural meeting to develop Hawaii's Hepatitis Elimination Plan. (Read our current plan.) It was attended by 45 stakeholders including patients, consumers, medical and social service providers, policymakers, and many more! We were also honored to have the support of Lieutenant Governor Josh Green, who proclaimed Hepatitis Elimination an important priority for Hawaii. See the KITV news spot about the event here.

As we continue in our year-long planning process, we would love your insights and feedback. To join, sign and send this commitment form to hepfreehawaii@gmail.com.

We look forward to eliminating hepatitis and addressing related harms for our communities in Hawaii.  Mahalo for being on this journey with us!

Free Movie Night on May 19

In honor of National Hepatitis Testing Day and National Asian Pacific Islander HIV Awareness Day on May 19, we are partnering with the Hawaii Health and Harm Reduction Center to host a free movie night! See press release.

Join us to watch short films featuring local people living with hepatitis or HIV. The screenings will be followed by a panel of the storytellers and filmmaker. By sharing these stories, we can fight stigma and fight hepatitis and HIV!

No RSVP needed. Just come by for pupus, movies, and community! Download and share poster and program.
