Hep C in Hawai’i SSPs

We are excited to share the 2019 Syringe Exchange Program Annual Report from the Hawai'i Health and Harm Reduction Center, which includes a special section on hepatitis C among people who inject drugs. From the report:
56% of survey participants tested positive for HCV antibodies (HCV Ab).
Among those who tested HCV Ab positive, 58% reported never having tested positive for HCV, possibly indicating new exposure or infection.
