HCV Screening for All Adults (18-79)

nvhr.jpg

Thanks to your feedback and advocacy, the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) has given a Grade B recommendation to hepatitis C screening in ALL adults aged 18 to 79 years! A Grade of A or B from USPSTF typically means that this will be covered without cost sharing by Medicaid and Medicare and eventually by private insurance payers.

We will be working to see how we can leverage this wonderful opportunity to increase testing in our local communities.  If you have any ideas or insights, contact us.
