World AIDS Day Hawaiʻi @5PM HST

“Join us for World AIDS Day Hawai’i 2025, a time for our community to come together in remembrance, reflection, and renewed commitment to health equity and compassion.

The evening will begin with a community reception featuring light refreshments, followed by a memorial program honoring the lives lost to HIV/AIDS and celebrating the ongoing work toward a future free of stigma and discrimination.

This year, the Hawai’i Department of Health will be honoring Kunane Dreier as the recipient of the 2025 Suzanne Richmond-Crum Award in recognition of his outstanding leadership, advocacy, and lifelong dedication to Hawaiʻi’s HIV and LGBTQIA+ communities.

Hosted by the Hawaiʻi Health & Harm Reduction Center (H3RC) in partnership with Church of the Crossroads, this annual gathering invites community members, advocates, and allies to stand together in solidarity and celebrate the power of hope, healing, and human connection.

All are welcome.
