March 18, 2026
⏰ 1:00–2:30 pm ET / 12:00-1:30 pm CT / 10 am-11:30 am PT
For staff in harm reduction programs that collect drug samples!
Drug checking doesn’t happen in isolation — it works best when it’s woven into the fabric of a harm reduction program. This training is designed to support programs in strengthening their sample collection practices, expanding staff involvement to non-drug checking staff, and building shared understanding across teams to benefit our program participants.
Join us for this interactive training led by Kyle Harrington designed for harm reduction staff who support sample collection for drug checking, including peers, outreach workers, case managers, nurses, drop-in staff, and drug checking technicians. This is also open to programs that are doing mail-based drug checking!
We’ll cover practical strategies for:
Safely collecting and handling samples
Involving more staff in drug checking work
Communicating clearly about sample collection
Minimizing risk through data practices
Building strong collaboration across program teams
The training will also include case studies, participatory role-play, and open discussion so participants can learn from real-world scenarios and each other.
Whether your program is new to drug checking or expanding staff involvement, we hope you’ll join us!”
