“Hawaiʻi Health & Harm Reduction Center (H3RC) is excited to continue the return of the CHOW Party Community Health Fair following the incredible response to our first event earlier this year.
“After a seven-year pause, it has been powerful to see the community come back together around the spirit of the CHOW Party and the importance of creating welcoming, low-barrier spaces rooted in dignity, compassion, and harm reduction. We are grateful for everyone who helped make the first event such a success and are excited to continue building momentum with this next installment.
The CHOW Party is centered on serving people who are unsheltered and people who use substances by connecting community members to essential health services, support, and resources in an accessible and community-centered environment.
As we prepare for this next CHOW Party, we are inviting community providers interested in participating as exhibitors. Due to limited space and the overwhelming interest received during our last event, priority will be given to organizations providing direct services and resources aligned with the immediate needs of the community attending the health fair.
To help make the event as impactful as possible, we ask that exhibitors come prepared to actively engage participants and provide meaningful services, information, resources, or referrals during the event. We are also asking organizations to limit participation to a maximum of two representatives per organization.
