“We would like to share information about an upcoming two-part webinar series hosted by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) in collaboration with the New York City (NYC) Health Department called “Enhanced Screening to Prevent and Proactively Address Perinatal Hepatitis C virus (HCV) Transmission.”
This series is designed to educate health care providers who come in contact with 1) people of childbearing age, 2) pregnant people (during pregnancy, perinatal and post-natal), and 3) infants and children perinatally infected with HCV on updated HCV screening guidelines, management details, and support with reporting requirements.
Each webinar will qualify for 1 CME (please see accreditation information below), and will be presented by Erica Finfer, MPH and Tara Melfi, MPH, CHES, from the Bureau of Hepatitis, HIV, and Sexually Transmitted Infections.
